Let the World See Your Work!
Unfortunately, due to internal changes we cannot organize this year’s Award. However, we have another competition where global competitors can join in –
The Digital Communication Awards
Feel free to take a look:
The Excellence Awards
The Latin American Excellence Awards were created to honour the most outstanding achievements of communications professionals in their field. In addition to this, the Awards also provide an excellent networking forum for all attendees and take a comprehensive look at communications achievements across Latin America.
The Awards are part of a global implementation of Excellence Awards, also rolled out in Africa, Asia-Pacific, North America and Europe.
The Latin American Excellence Awards recognise the best in the Latin American PR and communications community. By entering these awards you can:
- Let your reputation flourish
- Celebrate with your peers
- Announce your success
- Build your brand
- Motivate your team
- Discover your potential
The Awards are hosted by Communication Director, an internationally-focused magazine for corporate communications, PR and public affairs. Featuring opinion pieces, case studies and reports, Communication Director is a knowledge-sharing platform for communicators. Its articles are written by senior-level professionals at some of Europe’s largest companies and organisations, as well as prominent academics and thought leaders. As the partner publication of the European Association of Communication Directors, the largest network of in-house communicators working in Europe, the magazine was a natural choice to host the Awards and to honour outstanding communications accomplishments in Europe. Communication Director is part of the Quadriga portfolio.

Maitena de Amorrortu
Marcus de Barros Pinto
Understanding the shift in marketing and communications in an omnichannel world, she became the first digital strategist for Kimberly-Clark in Latin America, going on to head digital strategy, brand public relations, and corporate social responsibility for the Baby and Child Care (Huggies) priority business. Transitioning to Corporate Communications and heading the function for Latin America, she brought omnichannel thinking to reputation management and built novel frameworks to drive a transformation in the discipline. Her frameworks were adopted as the global standard at Kimberly-Clark, and she additionally received 12 international recognitions along the way, including PR Professional of the Year at the Excellence Awards. Anabell resides in Atlanta and is currently researching applications of Design Thinking for communications to enhance employee experience, drive "Future of Work", and business performance.
